Crownpoint offers residents maintenance-free, luxury living without the cost of entrance fees. In addition to not charging entrance fees, costs are lower than typical Independent Living communities providing more financial freedom. Residents can choose from duplexes, townhomes or apartments units. There are a wide range of floor plans to meet residents’ preferences, and all units are designed with one-level or first floor living to allow for aging in place.
Social interaction improves our physical and mental health! It’s a fact that enjoying time with others is good for our hearts and minds, and residents will have tremendous opportunity to engage from friends and loved ones. Enjoy game-watching parties, speaker series, holiday parties, cooking events, and much more inside our main building. Or enjoy outdoor gatherings, a spirited game of pickle ball, and gardening amongst other activities around our community greenspace.
Knowing how to maintain your health plays an important role in all of our lives. Crownpoint offers nutritional support and guidance, preventative health newsletters and classes, telehealth support, and physical therapy classes.
In order to maintain our well-being, physical activities are critical. Residents have access to various amenities including a walking trail, pickle ball court, raised garden beds and full fitness center.
We never stop learning and growing! Crownpoint’s enrichment programs continue providing purpose using your strengths, wisdom and talents for a meaningful and fulfilling life. Classroom learning, community outreach, and educational lecture series are just a few examples of the experiences residents can become a part of. Enrichment programs also include series on financial well-being and estate planning in order to further support our residents, plus Crownpoint is building a partnership to expand further opportunities through James Madison University’s Lifelong Learning Institute.
